I hope everyone had a great Reformation (Halloween) day. I enjoyed seeing all the students dressed up on Friday Morning and those who attended the Trunk or Treat. I had a great weekend. I was honored to be the Best Man in my best friend's wedding. We have been best friends since Kindergarten. It was a special day and a great time. But, here comes the sad news.
On Friday as I was leaving for the wedding activities, I got a phone call and then an email from our liaison with the Lansing School's shared partnership teachers. I was informed that our PE and Art teachers are working way too many hours over their contract with the Lansing School District. Which means they are cutting our Wednesday's Art Appreciation and PE Skills class. This Wednesday, Nov. 3rd will be our last Wednesday classes. They will still teach our Art and PE the rest of the week. So what does this mean? We need to come up with another option. Nothing has been finalized, but the simple response is, we will have full days every Wednesdays. We will let everyone know as soon as an answer or a better option appears.
